  • Existing listings are not affected

Use when: Adding new inventory, restocking, or importing from a purchase list.

Overwrite Mode

  • Quantity 0 in CSV will delete that listing
  • Optional: Delete all listings NOT in CSV (full replacement)

Use when: Your CSV represents your current complete inventory and you want CTCGX to match.

How to Import

  1. 1

    Go to Inventory > Import

From your store dashboard, navigate to Inventory and click the Import button. Choose "Add New" or "Bulk Update" based on your needs.

  2. 2

Select game (optional) and upload CSV

If your CSV is for a single game, select it. Otherwise leave it on auto-detect. Drag and drop your CSV file or click to browse.

  3. 3

    Review and edit

The system will match products and show you what will be imported. Fix any errors, adjust prices, or skip rows you don't want.

  4. 4

    Confirm import

Click Import to create/update your listings. You'll see a summary of what was created, updated, or merged.

Currency Conversion

If your CSV has prices in USD, EUR, or another currency, select the source currency during import. Prices will be automatically converted to CAD using current exchange rates from the European Central Bank.

You can see the original prices and exchange rate used in the review step.

Tips for Smooth Imports

Use product IDs when possible

If you have CTCGX product IDs, include them in your CSV. This ensures exact matches and avoids ambiguity.

Include card numbers

Card/collector numbers help distinguish cards with the same name in a set (e.g., regular vs. full art versions).

Start with a small test

Try importing 10-20 rows first to make sure everything maps correctly before doing a large import.

Generate a spreadsheet template

Use our "Generate Spreadsheet" feature to download a pre-filled template with all products from a game/set. Fill in quantities and prices for items you have.
